I just wanted to write and thank you for your exquisite service at our wedding. As most brides do, I had a picture in my head of what the day would look like, feel, and sound like. I wanted laughter, smiles, hugs and yes... crying.
But I also had a vision that was different than most brides. I wanted a completely relaxed atmosphere where people could feel free to get up and walk around the beautiful gardens at the Habitat, I didn't want the center of attention to be me and my dress, but rather the celebration of two families joining together.
After the ceremony, the receiving line, and the pictures, we made our way up to the building. I had dreamed that music, more than anything, would be a way to show our personalities, love of each other, and our interests off to everyone.
You were playing “Big Yellow Taxi”, covered by The Counting Crows, as I walked up to the building. This is my favorite band, and although you could not have known at the time, at that moment, I knew that this day would be a perfect day, to be remembered for a lifetime by everyone there.
Ed, you helped make our wedding day so special, and I am eternally grateful.
Thanks for making “ 6 / 5 / 4 “ the most wonderful, beautiful, spectacular day of our lives.”
